Not everyday is going to be a good day. Somedays are surprising. It's SO important in crossfit to keep a personal log. That's the only true way of seeing progress. Progress = confidence in my mind which is paramount in crossfit. Yes it is normal for even an old school crossfitter to get butterflies pre-wod lets face it every wod is a "test". Myself, i'm my own worst critic but it works for me, i'm always thinking how I could do things better for next time. Some WOD's I want a "do-over" so bad I may do them in my garage one day.
